How-To Setup Mac Email

Setup Email Accounts In Mac OSX Using Microsoft Entourage:

1. Open Entourage.
2. Click on the Tools menu.
3. Select Accounts from the dropdown menu.
4. Click on the New tab.

5. The Account Setup Assistant will begin. First, enter your name as you
would like it to appear. Click Next.

6. Enter your Email address. Click Next.

7. Make sure "Pop" is selected for your incoming mail server. Then enter your Email Server Names. Replace "mail.mydomain.com" with your actual domain name. Click Next.
Example: if your domain name is www.johndoe.com, then you would type in mail.johndoe.com for both your incoming and outgoing servers.

8. Next, you'll be asked to enter your email account information. This information can be found in your control panel. Click Next to proceed to the final page.

9. Finally, name your account. Nobody else will see this except for you, and it's what you'll see if you ever want to edit your account.

 

10. To add multiple email accounts for the same computer, follow the same steps.
